ApmixBot Privacy Policy
Effective 28 October 2026
ApmixBot keeps what you do in it on your phone. This policy explains what the app stores, what it sends and to whom, and the choices you have. It applies to the ApmixBot app for Android.
01Who we are
ApmixBot is made by apmix, which is operated by Nomvel (nomvel.com) (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the ApmixBot app for Android. The bot.apmix.ai website is part of apmix.ai and is covered by the apmix Privacy Policy at apmix.ai/privacy.
02What stays on your phone
ApmixBot stores the following in its private storage on your phone:
- Your Bots, their instructions and their memory notes
- Your chats and group chats, with the steps Bots take while they work
- Files you attach, files your Bots make, and the knowledge files you give a Bot
- Routines and their recent runs, skills, and your settings
- The API keys of the AI providers you add, and the sign-ins of the apps you connect
03Your AI provider
ApmixBot connects from your phone directly to the services in this and the next sections. We aren’t in between, and we don’t get a copy.
When a Bot works, the app sends the AI provider you set up for it what the Bot needs to answer: your messages, the Bot’s instructions and the memory that applies, files and pictures you share with the Bot, and the results of the tools it uses. It’s sent with your API key to the address you entered. The provider handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy. If you turn on a provider’s own web search, that provider runs the searches.
If you add apmix as your provider, these requests go to api.apmix.ai and are handled under the apmix Privacy Policy, like any other request made with your apmix key.
04Web search and web pages
When a Bot uses the app’s own search, your search words go to Bing, DuckDuckGo and Wikipedia, and news searches go to Bing News and Google News. When a Bot reads a page, the app downloads it from that website. As with any request on the internet, these services see your phone’s IP address.
05Apps you connect
When you connect an app, such as Gmail through Composio, Notion or GitHub, you sign in on that service’s own page or give ApmixBot the app’s key, and the sign-in is stored encrypted on your phone. When a Bot uses the app, it sends that service the request the task needs, for example a search in your email, and gets the result back. The Bot may then pass the result to your AI provider to answer you.
By default, a Bot asks you before it changes anything in a connected app, and you can change this for each app. Each service handles your data under its own privacy policy.
06Speech
Dictation and voice chats use your phone’s speech recognition service. Depending on your phone, that service, often Google’s, may process the audio on its own servers under its own privacy policy. Replies read aloud use your phone’s text-to-speech voices.
07Other apps you choose
When you share a file, open a link, or use a Bot’s button for a calendar event, alarm, timer, call, map, email or text message, ApmixBot hands it to the app you pick, and nothing goes further until you confirm there. Email and message drafts are sent only if you send them yourself.
Requests to these services carry the standard technical information any internet request does, such as your IP address. Requests to connected apps also name the app, its version and your Android version.
08What we don’t do
- We don’t run any server that receives your data from the app, and we can’t see your chats, files or keys.
- We don’t use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking tools in the app.
- We don’t sell, rent or share your personal information.
- If you install ApmixBot from Google Play, Google may collect information about the installation and the app’s performance under Google’s own privacy policy.
09Permissions
ApmixBot asks Android for these permissions, and uses each only for the reason given:
- Internet and network state: to reach your AI provider, the apps you connect and the web.
- Notifications: to tell you when a Bot replies or a routine runs. Android asks you first.
- Microphone: only while you dictate or are in a voice chat. Android asks you first.
- Foreground service: to keep a Bot working after you leave the app, with a notification that shows it.
- Run at startup: to keep your routines scheduled after the phone restarts.
- Set an alarm: to pass an alarm or timer to your clock app when you ask a Bot for one.
10Keeping and deleting data
Your data stays on your phone until you delete it. In Settings → Your data you can clear every chat, every file, all memory, or everything at once. Removing a provider deletes its key, and signing out of an app or removing it deletes its sign-in. Uninstalling ApmixBot deletes all of its data from your phone.
Data already sent to an AI provider or a connected service is kept under that service’s own policy. To delete it there, use that service’s settings or contact it.
11Security
Keys and sign-ins are encrypted with a key kept in your phone’s Android Keystore, and the app connects only over encrypted HTTPS. Its data is excluded from Android’s cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer, so it doesn’t leave your phone that way.
No way of storing or sending data is completely secure, so keep your phone locked and your keys private.
12Children
ApmixBot isn’t meant for children under 13. The app doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, children included.
13Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights over your personal data, such as to see it or have it deleted. Because the app doesn’t send us your data, there is nothing from it on our side to see, correct or delete: it’s on your phone, under your control. For data held by your AI provider or a connected service, contact that service.
14Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so in the app or on this website.
